Abstract
Many new species of Typhlodromus were described in recent years and these can readily be assigned to the species groups established by Chant (in press). Recently I received some slides of mites collected by Dr. Stanley Flanders, Citrus Experiment Station, Riverside, California, in Hong Kong in 1953. These mites are of the subgenus Typhlodromus as defined by Chant (1957), of a hitherto undescribed species that does not fall into any of the groups listed and that is of particular importance to those interested in the systematics of the Phytoseiidae. Keywords
