Abstract
Detection of nerve structures containing 5-HT were described in the anterior byssus retractor muscle (ABRM) in Mytilus edulis L. after using the fluorescence microscope technique of Falck. We are able to confirm our previous results and assumptions given by histology and electron microscope studies: the neuromuscular “en passage” junctions, largely distributed within the ABRM, contain 5-HT.This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
