Abstract
Symmetry of the lowest‐lying internal states of H3+ and the selection rules governing transitions following electron capture by these states are considered. H3+ is a constituent of interstellar medium and lowest‐lying states at temperatures of 3–30°K play a significant role.(AIP)Keywords
