Quasiclassical theory of superconductivity near magnetically active interfaces

Abstract
We derive boundary conditions that connect the quasiclassical propagators for superconducting metals across magnetically active interfaces. These boundary conditions, combined with the quasi- classical transport theory, determine the structure of the perturbed superconductivity near such an interface, and are essential for a quantitative theory of Josephson tunneling and proximity effects between heavy-fermion superconductors and inhomogeneous structures composed of magnetic and superconducting materials. We discuss some qualitative features of Josephson tunneling between conventional and unconventional superconductors.
