Abstract
Researchers have repeatedly found negative attitudes toward the aged among health professionals. This study was designed to evaluate the impact of oral health status upon dental student attitudes toward the aged. This study suggests that the attitudes of students in gerondontic programs may become initially more negative due to exposure to the generally poor oral conditions of elderly patients. Keywords
