Abstract
We demonstrate efficient replication of an incoherent fluorescent light with the broad bandwidth into its Raman sidebands with frequency spacing of 4150 in a thin hydrogen crystal. We achieve a high conversion efficiency of 22% per sideband using a sufficiently large Raman coherence prepared by two collinearly propagating ns laser fields.
