Abstract
Luteinising hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogue administration can reduce the size of uterine leiomyomata and its pre-operative use prior to myomectomy or hysterectomy is discussed. It is concluded that pre-operative use of LHRH analogues does have a role in gynaecological surgery. Keywords
