Abstract
Two 4,13-diaza-18-crown-6 derivatives in which the sidearms terminate in adenine or thymine residues have been prepared; molecular weight determinations indicate that they are associated in water and form a ternary complex with a dodecane-1,12-diammonium salt in the same solvent, presumably involving DNA-type interactions and a total of ten hydrogen bonds. Keywords
