Abstract
Neither HLA Class I nor Class II transplantation antigens were detected on human testicular germ cells by immunohistologic or immunoprecipitation techniques. This unusual characteristic of human germ-line cells could help to explain their immunologically privileged status in potentially hostile autologous and allogeneic host environments.This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
