Abstract
A case of sessile in situ carcinoma of the bladder diagnosed by repeated cytological examinations of bladder washings and repeated biopsies is reported. Systematic examination of the bladder after total cystectomy showed that the lesion occupied very large parts of the bladder and extended into the urethra and both ureters. A progression to early invasion at multiple separate sites was also revealed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
