Abstract
Ovacarus clivinae is described as a new genus and species of mite belonging to the family Podapolipidae. It is associated with the vaginal membrane of the female or aedeagus of the male slender seedcorn beetle, Clivina impressifrons LeConte (Carabidae), where it develops within a sac.Keywords
