Spin and Lifetime of the 2797-keV Level in F^{19}

Abstract
Correlation measurements have resulted in an unambiguous spin assignment to the level in at 2797 keV. The lifetime of this level has been measured with the Doppler shift attenuation method to be 246±44 fsec, which establishes its positive parity assignment.
