Abstract
Magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and specific heat on the pseudoternary series U(Ru,Rh)Al are presented. The development of magnetism, occurring in compounds with Rh concentrations larger than 20%, can be attributed mainly to a varying strength of the hybridization of the U 5f orbitals with the transition-metal d orbitals. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
