Abstract
A core sampler is described which was designed to sample depths encountered on wetlands utilized by breeding waterfowl for feeding on the North Dakota [USA] prairies. The conditions under which the core sampler can and cannot be used are presented. Its principal advantage is its light weight, which permits it to be hand-carried into areas where access is limited, a distinct advantage when working on waterfowl breeding habitats. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
