Abstract
Extract Madam: — An indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the quantitative assay of antibody against Aujeszky's disease virus (ADV) infection is routinely carried out in our laboratory, to certify pigs free of infection with ADV. This test was found to be the most suitable on the grounds of sensitivity, speed and cost, when compared with three other serological tests including the serum neutralisation test (SNT).
