Spectrophotometric Study of the Interaction of Bromopyrogallol Red with Tensides and the Effect of NaNO3

Abstract
A study was carried out of the effect of a strong electrolyte (NaNO3) on the change in the electron spectra (in the visible region) of bromopyrogallol red in the presence of Septonex, sodium dodecyl sulfate and Triton X-100. It was confirmed that NaNO3 has a marked effect on the solubilization of the dissociated forms of the dye in Septonex, in contrast to solubilization by Triton X-100.
