Abstract
In a hydrogen bubble-chamber experiment with a beam we have measured the branching ratio to be and the slope of the form factor to be . The data have been analyzed with a new variable, , which isolates a sample of unique decays and is independent of the beam momentum. These results are compatible with the predictions of dominance for and the Callan-Treiman relation for , but indicate a breaking of the rule. We have also determined the branching ratio to be , and have found the slope of the Dalitz plot to be given by .
