Abstract
The pistol case-bearer, Coleophora malivorella Riley (LEPIDOPTERA, COLEOPHORIDAE), is a native American insect which was described by Riley (1878). Gould (1931) recorded its range as extending from Virginia to Kansas and northward to Canada. Thorough reports on its life history have been given by Gould (1931 and 1936) and by Steiner and Worthley (1941).Keywords
