THE PLASMA-SALVAGE PROGRAM OF THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE ON BLOOD BANKS OF THE MASSACHUSETTS MEDICAL SOCIETY AND THE MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTHIn May, 1954, the Supervisory Committee on Blood Banks of the Massachusetts Medical Society established a plasma-salvage program in co-operation with the Institute of Laboratories of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, which has served as the processing agency.
