Abstract
A theoretical study of positronium negative ions is carried out. Hylleraas-type wavefunctions are employed to describe the system and an improved ground-state energy is reported. In addition, the two-photon annihilation rate and the lifetime against two-photon annihilation are also calculated, as well as the two-photon angular correlation function. Keywords
