Effect of Videotape Feedback on Children’s Classroom Behavior1

Abstract
In the present study video feedback was used in a classroom setting with 10-year-old boys who had exhibited disruptive behavior. With observable classroom performance as a dependent variable, comparison was made of the effects of the standard teacher conference, video feedback, and video feedback accompanied by discussion. Results tended to indicate that having a child view his own performance in the classroom provides an effect on his classroom behavior quite beyond that expected from teacher discussion alone.
