Abstract
A transistorized circuit particularly designed as an output indicator for linear variable differential transformers is given. It is relatively simple to construct, adjust, and operate. The advantages of a phase‐sensitive detector for the measurements of small displacements is discussed. Resolution of the unit is about 0.05 μ; the linearity is about ¼%.Keywords
