Abstract
Applayng the method of tissue culture in vitro the chromosome idiogram of Spalax leucodon was elaborated of a population from Delibiate in Banat, north from Danube. The diploid number of chromosomes in somatic cell was 2n = 48. Based on the study of chromosome morphology the autosomes are divided into five groups. By a detailed survey of 33 idiograms one suggested a schematic appearance of chromosome classification for the species mentioned that could be used in studying caryotypes of other Spalax leucodon populations. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
