Abstract
Ataxic and simple tremor in the rhesus monkey provoked by partial lesions of the dentate and interposed nuclei are reduced in amplitude, force, coarseness, and frequency of occurrence by contralateral lesions of the globus pallidus. Electrolytic lesions of the internal capsule interrupting fibers of the dorsal division of the ansa lenticularis abolish contralateral tremor and produce paresis. Ataxic and simple tremor in the rhesus resulting from lesions of the deep cerebellar nuclei may be abolished by lesions of the contralateral lenticular fasciculus. Keywords
