Abstract
Pre-and postoperative studies in prefrontal leucotomy patients revealed a postoperative increase in gross errors of digital tactile localization. Patients apparently decide "what finger?" and "what side of finger?" separately. The results support the hypothesis that normal tactile localization occurs through the dimensions of orientation or concepts. Keywords
