Abstract
Detailed K-LL Auger spectra of aluminium metal obtained either by X-ray excitation or electron bombardment are presented. Both spectra, which are rich in plasmon peaks, are very similar. The experimental energies are in close agreement with calculations in which two-hole coupling and relaxation effects are taken into account. Keywords
