Abstract
Inductive excitation was employed to produce pulsed discharge currents of more than 1000 A. The I.D. of a wide bore tube used was 1 cm, in which laser oscillation has been observed at four ion lines with pure argon at a pressure of about 15 mtorr. It has been found that current dependence of the laser output power at the 4765 Å line is very different from that at the other three lines. Keywords
