Abstract
The O-alkyl cleavage enzyme is important for the metabolism of cytotoxic alkyl-lysophospholipids [used in cancer therapy]. A simple new method for the determination of the enzyme activity was developed which is based on the formation of water-soluble phosphate during the enzyme reaction.
