Abstract
Home-cooked spinach proved to be a much better source of the anti-pellagric than of the anti-neuritic factor and cooking tends to reduce its anti-neuritic value. It appears doubtful that the P-P factor of autoclaved yeast is required by pigeons; addition of autoclaved yeast to a concentrated anti-neuritic fraction (prepared by Williams) did not restore the weight of rice-fed pigeons. A new bios has been isolated from yeast-autolysate which has a more powerful action than the amino acid crystalline bios isolated from yeast. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
