LYMPHOSARCOMA OF THE THYROID: REPORT OF A CASE

Abstract
Primary lymphosarcoma of the thyroid is so rare that only 33 cases had been reported in the literature to date, with 2 of these being questionable. The minutely described case currently reported is substantiated as primary in the thyroid since metastases were not generalized but consisted of one large metastatic lesion in the liver. In addition to the case report, the literature is summarized.
