Abstract
An eight-wavelength fast packet switching transmitter using a waveguide-grating-router multifrequency laser and an external modulator is demonstrated. The transmitter is capable of switching in less than 2.8 ns among any of eight wavelengths precisely spaced by 199.8 GHz with standard deviation of 1.0 GHz.Keywords
