Abstract
The paper describes the design and construction of a hybrid magnet system to generate 32T with 9MW of electrical power. The system consists of an 11T niobium-titanium superconducting magnet, a 1.8K/4.2K cryostat, and a high-performance, water-cooled Bitter magnet, all of which are discussed in the paperKeywords
