Abstract
Jakobovits (1965) found that females respond more strongly than males to stories classified as hard core pornography. The present study showed no difference between responses to erotic literature by 40 men and 40 women, in most of the comparisons studied. Thus, the data did not confirm Jakobovits' earlier findings, but were consistent with most other research. Keywords
