Abstract
In a previous work,1 we proved that a subset of the QCD local SU (3)color gauge transformations, involving color-neutral gluon field operator products, reproduces effective local diffeomorphisms. That proof involved integrations by parts, with possible surface terms. We present an alternative proof, which does not involve integrations, based on a radial expansion. It also provided new insight into the structure of the gluon fields.Keywords
