Abstract
A micronitrous acid extraction-coagglutination test for the rapid diagnosis of streptococcal pharyngitis was examined in a busy pediatric clinic and found to be a simple, rapid, and inexpensive procedure with a sensitivity of 78% and a specificity of 98% when compared with blood agar culturing. Keywords
