Abstract
The authors refer a case report of the Peutz-Jeghers tumour localised in transverse colon found during a systematic clinical examination of the 4-day-old newborn, without any signs of intestinal occlusion. The end-to-end colic resection was made. Post-operative course was without any complications. The observation is rarely due to the tumour's atypical localisation as well as its presence in the newborn. Les auteurs présentent un cas néonatal d'une tumeur de Peutz-Jeghers colique transverse découverte au cours d'un examen clinique systématique au 4e jour après la naissance, sans aucun signe d'occlusion intestinale. Une résection colique termino-terminale a été réalisée. Les suites opératoires ont été simples. Il s'agit d'une observation rarissime aussi bien en raison de sa localisation atypique que de sa présence chez un nouveau-né. Los autores presentan un caso neonatal de tumor de Peutz-Jeghers del colon transverso descubierto durante un examen clínico rutinario al 4 º día de vida sin síntomas de obstrucción intestinal. Se llevó a cabo una resección colónica con anastomosis término-terminal con buen resultado inmediato. Se trata de una observación extremadamente rara tanto por su localización atípica como por acontecer en el periodo neonatal. Es wird der Fall eines 4 Tage alten Neugeborenen vorgestellt, bei dem ein Bauchtumor getastet wurde. Die weitere Untersuchung, insbesondere die Abdominalsonographie sowie Kontrastuntersuchungen, ergab den Verdacht auf eine vom Querkolon ausgehende Geschwulst. Bei der Laparotomie fand sich ein 15 cm langer und 10 cm breiter adenomatöser Tumor bei gleichzeitigem Bestehen multipler anderer Polypen im Sinne eines Peutz-Jeghers-Syndroms. Der Fall wird vorgestellt wegen des ungewöhnlichen Vorkommens eines Peutz-Jeghers-Syndroms beim Neugeborenen und der ungewöhnlichen Größe der Geschwulst.
