Abstract
Although research on job stress has focused on the extent or causes of stress in critical care, few studies have focused on the effects of stress reduction strategies by the critical care staff. The results of a study that examined the strategies critical care nurses used to manage job stress and the effectiveness of these techniques are described. Keywords
