Stratigraphie du Precambrien de l'Oubangui-Chari occidental

Abstract
The Precambrian of western Ubangi-Shari, French Equatorial Africa, can be divided into four systems, separated by unconformities--the basement complex, highly folded and metamorphosed; the M'Poko system, deposited in two geosynclines, mainly represented by quartzites and schists; the Lobaye system, quartzitic sandstones of continental origin; and the cherty Zinga series, less well-developed, representing silicified deposits which were originally calcareous or dolomitic.
