Abstract
Zeeman effect and Stark Zeeman effect on rotational lines of formic acid were observed and analyzed. A theory of Stark Zeeman effect was given and applied to the analysis of the observed pattern. The diagonal elements of rotational g -tensor of HCOOH were determined to be g a a =±0.263±0.007, g b b =±0.099±0.005 and g c c =±0.025±0.007. These values have the same sign. Keywords
