Abstract
A swimming pool during periods of marked pollution was examined for incidence of B. coli and streptococci. Streptococcus incidence was found to parallel pollution, while B. coli incidence was variable, due to its growth in water. Streptococci indicate an unsafe water. B. coli does not necessarily indicate pollution, although its absence is an exceilent index of safety. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
