Abstract
By use of a protein dye as antigen, colorimetric determinations of the amount of antigen in the supematants and precipitates of the precipitin reaction were possible. The reaction can be expressed quantitatively by simple equations that follow the mass law. The prepared antibody solutions were colorless, suggesting that antigen itself does not take part in the building up of the antibody complex. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
