Abstract
Solution-like molecular absorption spectra of the typical non- and fluorescent organic solid dye compounds are observed. High dispersion of dye molecules on silica particles results in well band separated photoacoustic spectra. Effectiveness of this method in studying the electronic state of solid dye molecules is described. Keywords
