Abstract
Forty years after the first ‘recoveries’ obtained by antibiotherapy and twenty years after the first success of early valvular replacement, the mortality of infective endocarditis (IE) is still significant. The present study has been undertaken to clarify the factors which influence the prognosis of IE.Keywords
