Abstract
Taylor W B [Department of Statistics, The University of Adelaide, South Australia, 5001]. A simple risk factor in sudden infant deaths and its multiple attack distribution. International Journal of Epidemiology 1982, 11: 138–145. Representation of the risk of Sudden Infant Death by a continuous factor is attempted. Analysis of deaths in the Australian States of South Australia and Victoria shows that the risk at any time may be expressed by the ratio of birth factor value to current value. A further distribution requirement is that death occurs at the third of three random attacks suffered within the previous four months. Keywords
