Melting of Two-Dimensional Vortex Lattices

Abstract
The existence of a new phase boundary for thin-film superconductors in an applied magnetic field and in rotating films of superfluid helium is predicted. The melting temperature is shown to lie below and scale with the zero-field vortex plasma transition temperature.Keywords
