Abstract
A system is discussed which has been used to measure spin lattice relaxation times as brief as 1 μsec using pulse techniques at temperatures between 0.24 and 4.2K. The 3He refrigerator used to obtain cooling below 1.1K is given the most attention and is of interest because of the degree to which it was designed specifically for paramagnetic resonance experiments. In addition, the microwave spectrometer is described briefly. Keywords
