Abstract
Three hundred and sixty-six southern stars of B, A and F types brighter than 6.5 mag. were classified on the MK system. Microphotometer tracings were used to estimate the line ratios. A mean modulus for the members of the Scorpio-Centaurus cluster is determined. The calibration of absolute magnitudes of B stars is briefly discussed. Keywords
