Abstract
MEDICIS is an integrated environment for computer-aided diagnosis. It consists of two subsystems: a module used by the expert to build knowledge bases and a consultation module to exploit those bases. MEDICIS uses a framed representation of knowledge. The inference engine performs logical reasoning without recourse to certainty factors. This phase is followed by a multicriteria analysis. Keywords
