Abstract
The order of the chaotic attractor in EEG (electroencephalogram) dynamics is determined from the correlation dimension. The effects on the estimation of the correlation dimension caused by the selection of the embedding dimension, segment length, and delay are experimentally studied. A methodology to produce reliable estimates is outlined. Keywords
