Abstract
Presents the implementation of a 3D segment based reconstruction process on Capitan, a parallel architecture machine developed and produced by MATRA. The process presented involves low and intermediate vision algorithms and is able to build a 3D segment based representation of an observed scene in less than 40 seconds. The hardware configuration of the parallel machine. Capitan for such applications and the parallelization of the algorithms required are presented. Some experimental results will be shown.<>Keywords
